Few hip-hop acts has the power to get a crowd into uncontrolled sway as Rae Sremmurd, the Mississippi-hyped duo’s debut album from 2015 has reached platinum status and their visit to Sweden last year resulted in two rapidly sold-out concerts.

With the new album in the baggage we get the chance again when Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy takes Nobel Berget in Stockholm 9 February.

The brothers Khalif “Swae Lee” Brown and Aaquil “Slim Jimmy” Brown grew up in Tupelo in northeastern Mississippi, Elvis Presley’s hometown, in one of Mississippi’s most run-down areas and high crime.

In their teens they started to organize festivals and gigs around the Tupelo learned the duo themselves to create beats, DJing and record music, something that has come to characterize their unique sound.

After signatory to EarDrummers they released the single “No Flex Zone”, and since then it has gone straight up. The debut album SremmLife was met with rave reviews and had a strong impact among the audience, resulting in the platinum status.

In August Rae Srummurd released sequel “SremmLife 2”, which like its predecessor is strongly marked by star producer Mike WiLL Made-It. On the guest list, we see Kodak Black, Gucci Mane, Juicy J and Lil Jon.

9 Febrary Rae Sremmurd will visit Nobelberget for an uncontrolled concert!
