MovEat is fun, creative and unassuming food walks as you do at your own pace, yourself or with friends and other food enthusiasts.

– We really believe that the best way to understand a place, whether it’s a small town or a big city, is through the local food and drink, says MovEat’s founder, Charlotta Ranert.

During MovEat, food lovers will be able to discover local pearls and familiarize themselves with food heroes on delis, fragrant bakeries, original cubbyhole, cozy restaurants and cool bars. The selected places are run by local personalities with a passion for food and drink and are eager to highlight their neighborhoods.

MovEat is a development of the Skåne success Madamilen, who since the beginning of 2016 attracted nearly 10,000 happy eaters to taste through cities like Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg.

– On our food walks you do not have to wait for any guide. Instead, it will be direct contact with the chef or the owner and the other guests, if desired. Enjoying at your own pace is one of several reasons for the success we experienced in Skåne, says Charlotta Ranert.

The first food walk takes place on Söder on September 22th, followed by walks at Kungsholmen on October 13 and in Vasastan on November 17th. 400 tickets to the first MovEat Local Taste were released on the website www.letsmoveat.com on Friday 31 August. Price 395kr.
