By on November 24, 2017

On September 8, Paul Rey released the single “What Good Is Love” that has already been streamed more than 1.3 million times on Spotify. Last Friday, he released an acoustic version of the single as well as brand new stripped song “Tear Me Down”, written and produced by himself.

“I wrote ‘Tear Me Down’ earlier this year when I was playing an acoustic gig. I just got vibb! It came very spontaneously and I did it in a one-take.” – Paul says.

25-year-old Paul Rey, raised in Skåne, makes great soul and blues-influenced pop music, and with his last two singles has proved he is an artist to watch. This week he got standing ovations when he appeared on the Diabetes Gala with “What Good Is Love”. Next year, a EP is waiting for collaboration with top producers such as Will Hicks (producer of Ed Sheeran’s latest album) and the American Grammy Award-winning Meghan Trainor.
