Ortens voices – poetry from the resort becomes launchers for political debate.

Politics and poetry maxas and mixed when poets from the suburbs meets politicians from all parliamentary parties. An evening where topics such as segregation, exclusion, unemployment, refugees and feminism will take the form of poetry and debate formats.

Most people know today to contest Orten‘s finest poet, where the finals were held in Rinkeby Youth House 5 to 6 November. In the audience sat more than 1,500 people, but neither politicians nor the media appeared. Now there is a second chance to listen and meet Ortens voices.

Million staffing offer together with Subtopia into a democratic strengthening event in Subtopia to lift these hotly debated substances. Finalists in the town’s best poet perform their reality through poems that politicians then get to debate about.

The evening begins with an interview in which the Minister of Education and representative from the government Gustav Fridolin questioned about how we among other breaks exclusion, reduces segregation and improves school grades. After the interview, the poems will be performed by six different poets from the resort and then it becomes a political debate of it all!

Evyn Redar will be the compere for the evening and Amie Bramme Sey will take on the task to lead and moderate the interview and debate in Ortens voices.
