Now opens NK Saluhall – Stockholm’s new food destination

Together with some of Sweden’s foremost food entrepreneurs and connoisseurs, a new concept has been developed to be able to offer NK’s customers a world-class sales hall. Behind the meat dish you find Johan Jureskog and Klas Ljungquist from AG Kötthandel, the fish counter is manned by the brothers Nils and Erik Molinder, the cheese counter by Vincent and Anna Lefèvre from Androuet Ost and Johannes Cullberg from Paradiset stands for basic food, fruit and vegetables. NK Bread and NK Confectionery will be run by Johan Sörberg, one of the country’s foremost bakers and confectioners. Here is also Danielle and Johan Lalin’s Dr. Mat with his healthy and tasty selection as well as Katarina and Håkan Mild’s glass company Lejonet & Björnen.

– We are very happy to finally be able to present our new market hall. The food entrepreneurs belong to the top layer in their respective categories and possess the knowledge and experience that will make NK Market Hall a food destination for both Stockholmers and food lovers, says Andreas Edström, department store manager Nordiska Kompaniet.

NK Market Hall will offer a traditional market hall experience in combination with catering and a basic food supply. Here, customers can pick up ingredients and delicacies for a good dinner, lunch or breakfast, but here is also the opportunity to settle down on one of the smaller servings to enjoy a meal or after work.

– With us at Dr Mat the food is our passion! Our dishes are carefully composed based on taste, texture and feeling, but it not only tastes good but also makes the body good. We focus on food that gives health to everyone. Nutritious food that is as close to the origin of the raw material as possible, says Danielle Lalin, founder and owner Dr Mat.
