New glass exhibition at Konsthantverkarna

By on October 4, 2016

The inspiration for Plock is taken from sewing casket, museum collections, children’s minerals box, the Japanese plastic cup or something you find on the street. If it is nice or ugly does not matter. It has been more important with the possibility that the individual parts create.

In Plock has Carina Seth Andersson returned to there own glass. In the hut, she stripped down, joined together and added. In the hot glass, she has worked out the various elements which then become the bottle, cork and cap. Structures and surfaces has been the focus, which meant a technical exploration and new elements in the work.

Plock is shown on 8 – 26 October 2016 at Konsthantverkarna in Stockholm, Södermalmstorg 4, at Slussen. Vernissage October 8 at 12-16 in the artist’s presence.
