Central locations, an increasingly customer-focused working method and attractive stores are the future of physical retail. That’s how the omni-trading actor Scorett thinks when they now take over JC’s premises on Drottninggatan in central Stockholm, and opens their new flagship store for Scorett in the autumn of 2019.

Central store locations in street level are becoming increasingly important key places when it comes to establishing physical retail. A fact omni trading actor Scorett has had under control when they are now in the starting blocks to open one of Sweden’s largest shoe stores at the top location Drottninggatan in central Stockholm, premiere this fall.

At present, the Scorett group has an existing Scorett store on Drottninggatan and will now be expanded to the JC store’s premises that are wall-to-wall. With an area of just over 650 sqm, the store will constitute the chain’s new flagship store, a grand venture at one of the country’s absolute AAA locations, which will help to promote the company’s positioning in the future market.

In order to fully provide a customized customer experience, Scorett offers a wide range of the market’s most attractive shoe and accessory brands, wide range availability through an instore solution where products that are not in the store’s stock can be ordered free of charge to a store with immediate delivery, a high Personal service level and expertise in shoes and shoe care goes like a red thread.

– Investments in attractive city locations are becoming increasingly important to us, during the course “If we are invisible, we do not exist”. We see that customers find our stores, and the customer flow in a line like Drottninggatan in Stockholm remains very strong. We therefore continue to adapt our stores and make them more attractive and adapted to the customers’ needs according to our omni-channel strategy. The proximity to the customer, increased service both online and in the physical store, as well as being able to offer a large and extremely good range of attractive brands with the customer in focus is also fundamental to us even in our future expansion of physical store units, says Peter Blomquist, CEO of the Scorett group.
