National Museum @ Fine Arts Academy

National Design Museum
Eero Aarnio 8 February to 23 April 2017
In the spring shows Nationalmuseum Design an exhibition featuring one of Scandinavia’s leading design icons that during sex decades extended the concept of what a piece of furniture can be and how it might look. Throughout his designers life Eero Aarnio experimented with form and materials, technologies and manufacturing processes. The exhibition includes both some of the most well-known furniture from the 1960s and 1970s as objects and furniture from the 2000s. The exhibition is produced by the Design Museum in Helsinki and was shown there under in 2016.
