Music | David Guetta takes the help of a million fans on the official EM song

French DJ and producer David Guetta will be producing the official song for the European Football Championships next summer. The song, which has been titled “This One‘s For You,” has already begun to take shape and now offers Guetta in fans around the world to participate.

“I’m so excited to be working with UEFA on this project in my home country. UEFA EURO 2016 is all about the fans and I want to put them at the heart of everything, especially the music. So I’m trying something very special and asking fans around the world to celebrate this festival of football by being part of the Official Song,” – David Guetta.

Guetta is aiming for as many as a million fans will get the chance to be part of the recordings. By visiting and follow the instructions they can record their own contribution. Guetta will then mix all the recordings in the final version, to be released in spring 2016. All fans that contribute to the song will each receive their own unique covers and participate in a draw to win tickets for the opening match and also be given the opportunity to meet Guetta himself.

David Guetta is the best selling artist in the world. He is the third artist ever to achieve two billion streams on Spotify and is the artist who has the most followers on Spotify (55 million fans). In connection with the EM, he will also perform at both the opening and closing ceremonies at the Stade de France, implementing a free concert for fans in central Paris as well as participate in the UEFA EURO 2016 Trophy Tour.
