Matilda Haritz Svenson builds the context of abstract sculptures. Her pottery has a driven touch, burns with wood and gets of its size a physical presence that she uses to make the human the last piece of puzzle in the work.

In the exhibition Att rymma med en cirkus shows works done in collaboration with the acrobat Signe Veinholt. By searching in the material they have developed sequences where the objects are both actors and props. It has become a kind of low-key performance that will be performed in the exhibition on 7/10. The work is part of the project Choreography for objects funded project grants from the Artistic Board.

Matilda Haritz Svenson f. 1982 is active in Siljansnäs in Dalarna and currently current with a public form on NKS. She has received a number of scholarships, such as the IASPIS studio scholarship 2014-2015.
