LYSA releases the new single “Sober”

By on May 5, 2017

Behind the artist’s name LYSA is Lisa Maria Jönsson whose musical roots extend to the hometown of Jönköping’s gospel choirs where she started singing as 7 years old. The music has always been her obvious choice, and two years ago she changed Jönköping towards Stockholm to bet wholeheartedly.

It didn’t needed more than a meeting to start a collaboration with Moon Man Records and her first recording was to put the vowels on PLUTO’s “Feel the Fire – Breathe Vocal Mix”.

At the end of March, LYSA released her first single under her own name – “Beats & Battle Drums” at Moon Man Records, the debut has close to 300,000 plays on Spotify and was picked up by, among other, Line of Best Fit.

Now, LYSA is following up with the new single “Sober” which is released in collaboration between Warner Music and X-records. “Sober” builds on the sound of “Beats and Battle Drums”, the pop made for the club with LYSA’s unique voice in the center.

During spring 2017, LYSA is also included in the television program Paradise Hotel.
