Lonely christmas tree looking for…

By on November 26, 2018

From 1 December, anyone who wants to spread extra Christmas joy can leave Christmas presents for needy children under the mansion’s Christmas trees at Högberga Gård on Lidingö. Help us help!

When Christmas is approaching, our home-made, traditional Christmas table sets up and Christmas scents spread on the farm. It is decorated, baked, grilled, curdled, stuffed, gravas and traditionally is the house decorated by many beautiful Christmas trees. The highest measures more than four meters. Even this year, these firs will be the gathering place for Christmas presents for children who otherwise risk being without. An initiative that has been a great success for us two years in a row.

– Who wants to contribute buys a Christmas gift, wraps a package and then leaves it under one of our firs. You can choose what you want to give, toys or clothes, but the package should have the size of a shoe box and on the label it should be what age the gift fits and whether it is meant for a girl or boy.

The Christmas gift collection takes place in close collaboration with Lidingö City, which ensures that Christmas presents reach the families that need them. The Christmas presents can be left under the firs in the mansion from December 1, and when you leave your gift, it is offerd coffee and bun.
