Mustafa Mohamed runs TCS Lidingöloppet

The 2008 winner of TCS Lidingöloppet Mustafa “MusseMohamed is now back on the starting line again. He has competed extensively in 2016 and is again psyched to run on Lidingö on 24 September and really looking forward to the race where he is aiming for victory.

I have many great memories from TCS Lidingöloppet. Not only the winners, but also memories of the beautiful scenery and the peppery spirit audience. I know it is a tough and fun challenge I have in front of me! said Mustafa.

TCS Lidingöloppet organized this year for the 52nd time. The race that is a part of the Swedish Classic gets now visit from Swedish fastest of all time. Mustafa already has three wins out there at Lidingö and has never been lower than fifth. A win in the boys 18 and three wins in TCS Lidingöloppet 30. His record reads 1:37:10.

It’s great that Mustafa wants to invest in TCS Lidingöloppet as one of the main goals for the season. Mustafa is a contemporary icon beloved by the people in the Swedish race and a fantastic ambassador for the sport, says Tomas Hoszek General Secretary TCS Lidingöloppet.

Musse has during the summer competed in a range of 10 km race and have gained momentum firmly. He also won SM gold in the 10000m last weekend in Sollentuna. It will go fast the last weekend in September believes both Musse and TCS Lidingöloppet.

My goal is to win! I think I have to run on personal best to reach the goal, says Mustafa about the goals for the race.
