March 2 Stockholm, Bar Brooklyn (Debaser Strand)

For over thirty years into his musical career is Jesse Malin still tireless and constant current (this year alone, he has released two new albums). In March 2016, he returns to Sweden and Stockholm for a gig at the Bar Brooklyn. Free entrance! Support: Trapper Schoepp + Don DiLego.

In October Jesse Malin released his latest album “The Outsiders”. An album that shows Malin of his rawest side so far. The album was born from the late hours of recording with producer Don DiLego. Malin himself describes the album as a flat built on optimism and disgust.

Jesse Malin began playing live already at age 12 in the hardcore band Heart Attack. Later, he and his childhood friends formed the rock and roll band D Generation and released three albums and toured around the world several times before they finally disbanded.

As a solo artist, Jesse Malin released six acclaimed albums. The first, the solo debut from 2002 The Fine Art of Self Destruction” was produced by Ryan Adams. Jesse Malin has been acclaimed in unison. He has been nominated for the Shortlist Music Prize, received four-star reviews in Rolling Stone, Uncut etcetera and has collaborated with greats like Bruce Springsteen and Green Day to name a few. In February, a re-release of The Fine Art of Self Destructionalong with a bonus disc.
