Thursday, June 2 between the hours. 18:30 and 19:30 lecture Jacy Reese, a researcher at the Animal Charity Evaluators, on Folkuniversitet in central Stockholm. In the preferred Reese will introduce the basics of effective altruism, a growing movement that is based on evidence and critical thinking to improve the world.

Above all, Reese discuss why efforts to improve the living conditions of animals is one of the most promising ways to help others. The focus is on Animal Charity Evaluators research on what is the most successful strategies to reduce animal suffering.

In closing comes Animal Rights Chair Camilla Björkbom to participate in a panel discussion with Jacy Reese on effective animal rights activism.

The lecture is free and is organized by the largest animal rights and animal welfare organization Animal Rights and Corps Association Efficient Altruism SU.
