Local | Hoodie Allen to Sweden in September

By on June 7, 2016

You know you’re something big on the tracks when your debut album enters the Billboard top-10 list. Add to that collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Chiddy Bang and Wiz Khalifa, and we get further on our feet when we predict a huge musical talent on the rampage. On 11 September comes Hoodie Allen to Sweden for the first time.

Hoodie Allen put his first rhymes at age of twelve, a beat as his old uniform created with a musical toy from Toys R Us. Somewhere sown the seeds of a dream that eventually become strong enough for Allen to leave a job at Google in California and instead throwing himself out of a career in music in New York. A decision that can get any parent to fade, but with his version of Marina & The Diamonds – I’m Not a Robot, he had already felt the air drawn from the breeze that would soon blow up to full storm.

The name Hoodie Allen has Steven Markowitz (his real name) has mostly because it‘s weird, though he also has noted that there are benefits that people will remember it. And the people see it, there is no doubt, his debut album went in at number 10 on the Billboard list when it was released. With collaborations and tours with names like Ed Sheeran, Chiddy Bang and Wiz Khalifa, it feels pretty obvious that career choice was right.

With a new album, Happy Camper, who placed high up on the charts worldwide, it is time again for the tour. With him has Hoodie Allen a full live band and a stage experience and experience from years of touring with world elite of artists. We are confident that the energy that is unleashed at the first verse will get Debaser Strand to boil!
