February 17 – Berns, Stockholm

Popsensationen Halsey has in two years gone from being completely unknown to being one of America’s greatest pop artists. In the spring she finally makes his first European tour and 17 February she stands for the first time on the Swedish scene: the beautiful Berns in Stockholm.

Behind the name Halsey is 21-year-old New Jerseyborn songwriter and singer Ashley Frangipane, who had come to establish herself as one of the world‘s most exciting pop artists. Having opted out of a college education to focus on the music, she released her debut single “Ghost” in the middle of last year. Tributes flooded in from around the world and Universal labeln Astralwerks signed her just a day after they heard “Ghost“. Debut EP Room 93 followed in October of the same year and Halsey was tipped as one of 2015‘s most promising artists including Vevo and Billboard as her first tours in her home country sold out in minutes. The debut Badlands released in August and broke quickly into the charts around the world, while it was hailed by the likes of Rolling Stone for its mix of electronic pop and personal and charming songwriting.

Halsey ‘s first European gig in London sold out in minutes, and after a series of sold out tours in the United States Halsey sets out on the roads in the rest of Europe in the spring. On February 17, she gives an intimate gig at Berns in Stockholm. SEE IT! Next time she stands on a much bigger stage. Ticket release tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/20 at 10.00.
