Local | From Starwood til At Six: Henrik Jakobsen becomes Director of Food & Beverage at the new lifestyle hotel

Now move Henrik Jakobsen from Brussels to Brunkebergstorg and the exciting task of developing the restaurant and bar concept for Petter Stordalen’s new hotel venture that opens in March 2017. In the center of Stockholm is created, in addition to two independent hotels, dozens of restaurants and bars with a two-story great roof restaurant with outdoor terrace as the crowning.

Henrik Jakobsen has extensive experience in hospitality industry and catering with him in the luggage, and most recently from a position as Associate Director of Food & Beverage for Starwood Hotels & Resorts EMEA, with responsibility to develop the Group’s food and beverage offerings. Before that, he worked for several years at the Sheraton Stockholm, including as Director of Food & Beverage. During his time at Starwood Henrik has also been awarded a number of prestigious awards, such as Starwood’s President’s Award” in 2010 and the Sheraton Stockholm’s Manager of the Year” in 2009. His work focused on sustainability issues has also been awarded; Sheraton Stockholm won two consecutive years the Group F & B Sustainability Awardin 2010 and 2011.
