February 5 Debaser Medis, Stockholm

We say “FINALLY!” and expect that a large number join in this cry of joy. The British indie folk trio Daughter return to Stockholm for a gig on February 5th with their new album Not To Disappear in the back all their previous Stockholm gigs have been sold out so hang on the lock when the tickets are released Friday, October 23 at 10.00.

Daughter is the singer and guitarist Elena Tonra, guitarist and producer Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella and with their debut album If You Leave they dazzled the entire world of music when it was released in March 2013. Intimate, dark and attractive, but also grandiose and epic If You Leave was hailed by music critics around the world while the band toured to sold out houses. Nearly three years later, it is time for the sequel Not To Disappear, released on January 15 via 4AD, and expectations are naturally high. First single “Doing The Right Thing” does not disappoint familiar but at the same time larger and more expansive, intimate moments that turns into kaleidoscopic ambitious crescendos.

Last Daughter visited Sweden was autumn 2013 when they excelled at a sold Debaser Beach and Friday 5 February, it is time again when they stand on stage at Debaser Medis in Stockholm.
