In 2015 the Spirit museum focused on beer. Beer venture ends with Daniel Burns, head chef at the Luksus, Green Point / Brooklyn, invited to a guest appearance with beer and food in focus. Luksus is the only restaurant in the world with a Michelin star, which only serves beer to the food.

Spirits Museum’s chef Petter Nilsson got to know Daniel Burns when he was the dessert chief at Noma in Copenhagen where he came through Saint John and The Fat Duck in London. Daniels Luksus restaurant, which opened in 2013 and is located in the room behind the brasserie Törst, serves his personal interpretation of American cuisine with clear, nuanced flavors. Here, he wants to show the world that it is perfectly possible to serve beer to fine cuisine. Already after one year was the restaurant given its first Michelin star.
On the Spirits Museum’s restaurant, just like on Luksus, Petter and Daniel pairing food with a selection of beers.
