Local | Beckman’s Fashion Collaboration 2016 on Fashion Week Stockholm

Beckman’s Fashion Collaboration is fourteen personal collections created by fashion students at Beckmans College of Design on the basis of some of Sweden‘s best-known fashion brands Carin Wester, Cheap Monday, Filippa K, Hope, House of Dagmar, Ida Sjöstedt and Whyred.

Final Years students on the Fashion program has been invited to formulate a creative contribution to these seven successful Swedish fashion company, which in turn generously shared ideas and techniques to the students. The students then developed them and brought their own visions. The results are presented on a display at the Fashion Week Stockholm.

After the show it is possible to look more closely at the collections and to interview students: Josephine Bergqvist, Amanda Blom, Filippa Borenius, Olle Daunfeldt, Siah Javaheri, Livia Schück, Isabelle Larsson Knobel, Jenny Larsson, Victor Lindh, Klara Modigh, Petra Norden, Emma Röstlund, Anna Scholz, Johanna Welinder.

Collections concepts have become the starting point for fashion films, images and communication that students in the program for Visual Communication developed during the project. Where they show their visions of what fashion communication can be.
