Local | Australian rising star Troye Sivan to Sweden in November

On December 4, Troye Sivan releases his debut album Blue Neighbourhoodand the same week, November 30, stands the Australian number one at Debaser Strand’s stage in Stockholm. The concert in Stockholm is one of only four European Concerts, where the cities that are visited are London, Paris and Berlin. Tickets for this exclusive concert is released tomorrow, Friday, October 16 at 17:00.

The multi-talented Troye Sivan has an incredibly large and devoted fanbase. Mini album “Wild” that was released earlier this autumn climbed high on world charts and was number one on iTunes across 57 countries. Now this 20-year-old, whose unique sound described by many as “The Voice of a Generation“, also came up with his first full length album Blue Neighbourhood” which is released on December 4 this year. His latest single WILD” is produced and written with Alex Hope, who previously worked with Guy Sebastian and 5 Seconds of Summer.

The South Africanborn Australian had his breakthrough on YouTube where his videos quickly reached an audience of millions. His personal video diaries and songs have given him a fanbase around the world, it became clear when Troye last year released his debut EP “TRYXE” which took the first place in 66 countries.

The prestigious magazine Time Magazine listed Troye Sivan as one of last year’s “most influential teens” and he has collaborated with, among other things, the fashion house Saint Laurent. Troye Sivan was last year’s third most publicized artist on Tumblr, and was nominated in addition to the Producer of the Yearat the Australian Grammy Awards. He has also been praised by artists like Taylor Swift and Sam Smith, who famously Troyes distinctive voice with the words: Troye Sivan’s voice does things to my body”.

About the “Blue NeighbourhoodTroye says:

“It’s all autobiographical. It takes place in both the suburbs of Perth where I’ve grown up, which I consider to be my blue neighbourhood, but then also in this fast-paced, crazy, whirlwind life that I’m now living in hotel rooms and planes. And it takes place inside the mind of a 20-year-old kid. I wanted to make sure that youthfulness was there; I worked mostly with really, really young people on this record.”

Troye Sivan‘s videos have been seen over 200 million times on YouTube, his music is played over 60 million times on Spotify and he has more than 11 million followers on its social channels.
At this writing, he pulls out on his first US tour, a tour across the country that sold out in unbelievable 27 minutes. That Troye in connection with his new album will now come to Sweden for an exclusive gig at Debaser Strand in Stockholm is as big as long awaited by Swedish fans. See you there!
