The Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli going in the beginning of next year on an intimate solotour, where he stops in eleven countries for 32 concerts. One of these takes place precisely in Sweden 16 February at the Southern Theater in Stockholm, where he will offer powerful versions of the best of everything he did before. Ticket release Friday, October 23 at 10.00.

Greg Dulli began his musical career in 1987 as the frontman and guitarist for the pionjerande band The Afghan Whigs. Acclaimed by both critics and fans, the band released six studio albums before they took a break during the 90’s second half. Dulli continued by founding both The Twilight Singers and later (2008), The Gutter Twins the latter of which was a collaboration between he and close friend Mark Lanegan.

In 2012, The Afghan Whigs reunited for a hugely successful tour that included both appearance at Lollapalooza and stop at the prestigious and completely sold out venues around the world. After the tour they released the band’s first album in sixteen years; it among critics and fans recognized Do to the Beast. The Afghan Whigs is currently in the studio working on a new album that will be released on Sub Pop Records in 2016.

On An Evening With Greg Dullileads Greg Dulli with his band us through a collection of songs that embrace the whole of his career side by side with brand new songs. The entire tour from beginning to end is permeated by the exclusivity and intimacy with stops at smaller theaters, churches and synagogues.
