Stevie Van Zandt, aka Little Steven, known as a guitarist in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, for his role in the Sopranos TV series and not least for his significant music career in his own name, is now coming to Sweden for a gig at the Stockholm Waterfront on November 18 2017.

In November, Little Steven will be on tour with his band The Disciples Of Soul. The tour celebrates the Soulfire album, the first solo album for more than 15 years. It is undoubtedly Little Steven’s most personal work so far. The album reflects his career as an artist, performing artist, producer, organizer and songwriter.

“I have always been very thematic with my work, very conceptual. I need a bigger picture, I can not just make a collection of songs, it does not work for me. In this case, the concept became myself. Who am I? I am a little of my own genre right now. So I’ve tried to choose material that each one in the end represents me. This album is me who makes myself.”, explains Little Steven about Soulfire.

With his Disciples Of Soul in the back solo debuted Little Steven in 1982 with acclaimed “Men Without Women”. Later he became famous not least in Sweden for the song “Sun City” (1985) with Artists United Against Apartheid, and his equally politically committed solo album “Freedom – no compromise” (1987). In 2016, he reunited The Disciples Of Soul, to the fans’ great delight.
