Krogveckan, Sweden’s largest restaurant festival, is back on January 25th

By on January 24, 2019

For the tenth year in a row, Krogveckan (Restaurant week) rolls out on taverns around Sweden with fantastic offers where food guests are offered the opportunity to enjoy a 2-course menu for 200 or 300 SEK. Krogveckan (Restaurant week) is organized by Bookatable by Michelin and runs from January 25 to February 10.

Since the start in 2010, Krogveckan (Restaurant week) has been an appreciated recurring feature every year, where thousands of food guests took the opportunity to book a restaurant experience and enjoyed a two-course menu at a great price.

This year the festival will start on January 25 and end on February 10th. One hundred restaurants participate, mainly in Stockholm and Gothenburg, but also in the rest of the country. The booking has already opened and the pressure has been high from the beginning.

Krogveckan (Restaurant week) is our biggest event of the year and gives all food lovers the opportunity to try different kitchens, find new inspiration and maybe even a new favorite. Gather friends, family and do not miss the opportunity to eat really good food, at a very affordable price, says Åsa Murphy, Managing Director at Bookatable.

When Krogveckan celebrates 10 years, Bookatable focuses on creating extra attention around the event this year. Friday and Saturday there is a pop-up truck, Krogtrucken (The Restaurant Truck), set up in the central parts of Stockholm. There visitors get the opportunity to free sample samples from some of the participating restaurants – Miss Voon, Mr Voon and Il Tempo, compete for great prizes and get help with table bookings.

To keep track of Krogtrucken (The Restaurant Truck) and everything else that happens during Krogveckan (Restaurant week), follow us on Instagram ( and Facebook (Bookatable by Michelin SE).
