KRAFTWERK is ready for Storsjöyran with its spectacular 3D show

The iconic electro pioneers Kraftwerk comes to Östersund and Storsjöyran this summer. On Friday the 27th of July the group is on stage ready to bring the audience on a spectacular journey. With them, they have their talked 3D shows that are now being played with Storsjön and the Jämtland mountains as a coulisse.

The multimedia project Kraftwerk is coming to Sweden and Storsjöyran on July 27th. Combining sound and image, Kraftwerk offers a prominent four-decade musical and technological innovations, improvisations, 3D projections and animations. Their 3D concert is a mix of music and performance art, or as they say in German; “Gesamtkunstwerkwerk” – a total artwork.

Kraftwerk was founded in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider and has inspired an entire music world with its electronic sound. Today, there is hardly any single modern genre that has not borrowed elements from the group’s famous toolbox.

Over the past few years, Kraftwerk has been drawing card for festivals such as Roskilde, Stockholm Music & Arts and Way Out West, attracting major performances at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Sydney Opera House and Tate Modern in London.
