During their 24-year career, they have topped the charts, toured the world, sold over 40 million albums, wrestled with darkness and addiction and come out stronger on the other side. One of the world’s leading and most emotional soul-searching hard rock bands visiting Sweden in the summer for an exclusive concert. On August 17, makes Korn their first gig at Gröna Lund’s Main Stage.

They formed in 1993 in California and got their big breakthrough the following year with the self-titled debut album “Korn”. Today they are one of the world’s biggest rock band, known for their disclosure and dark lyrics. According to the singer Jonathan Davis works their music as a kind of therapy, both for themselves and their listeners, something that latest album “The Serenity of Suffering” from 2016 is a strong evidence to. The band has always attached great importance to their live performances and that’s when they face their audience as they come to their real rights. On August 17 at 20.00 comes Korn to Sweden to face their audience for one gig, on Gröna Lund’s Main Stage.

Korn belongs to one of the bands that defined for me the new type of hard rock that emerged in the 90s. They have both a dark depths of feeling in the stomach while delivering a great live show. This should not be missed, says Johan Tidstrand, Gröna Lund’s owner.
