Killswitch Engage

Grammy-nominated and gold-selling hardcore giants Killswitch Engage releases their eighth album “Atonement” on August 16 and after that the American metalcore band comes to Sweden for one concert Wednesday October 30 at Fryshuset in Stockholm!

Finally new material from Killswitch Engage! The band’s eighth album has the potential to be something really huge, if the first single “Unleashed” is a benchmark for the band’s sound on the album.

About the song and the album says the singer Jesse Leach:
“Unleashed is about inner passion and rage coming up to the surface. We all have that wild within that often stays until a tragic event triggers and awakens it. This song is about that awakening within. I was able to capture something raw and intense on this song and I’m stoked for everyone to hear it! The new album Atonement is a reflection of perseverance and passion through the trials and suffering of our existence.”

The idea for the album came already in 2017, but because of an operation in Jesse Leach’s neck he had to train speech, song and scream (!) to be able to return to the band. The result of that period was something completely unique – and the band’s eighth album.

We look forward to seeing Killswitch Engage on Swedish soil again!

Tickets were released on Friday 28 June at 11.00 via LiveNation.se.
