Norwegian singer and songwriter Julie Bergan has already reached 150 million streams on Spotify, topped the lists in the home country, been opening act to world star Justin Bieber and sold platinum several times.

Last Friday she released the new single “Guilt Trip” which is a taste of the debut album “Turn On The Lights” coming February 2th. The song is a sequel to critically acclaimed ballad “Incapable”, which are still high on the Norwegian charts.

“I’m sooo happy that I’ve released” Guilt Trip “one week before the album, because I’ve been eager to get this song out ever since we sat in the studio with it several months ago. I’m very proud of “Guilt Trip” and love both the concept and the feeling I get when I hear the song. Hope people who hear this will be as happy to hear it as I am!” – Julie Bergan.

During the year 2016, Julie has sold both gold and platinum (several times) as well as charmed the Nordic audience with performances on Danish X Factor and Norwegian Idol, together with Tinie Tempah. She has participated in Jess Glynne’s European Tour and played on sold-out scenes as well as being opening act to no-less than Justin Bieber in both Norway and Spain during his latest tour. In addition to that, the Norwegian star has been busy with her “Arigato Tour” where she played at a variety of festivals with her live bands in both Norway and Sweden.

2017 continued in the same track for Bergan. She released the hit song “Blackout”, nominated by Norwegian Grammis to “The Year’s Song” for “Arigato” and was awarded the “Breakthrough of the Year” by the Norweigan Songwriter Association. As if it were not enough, she also performed at over 30 festivals in Scandinavia and the UK.

On February 2, Julie Bergan’s debut album “Turn On The Lights” is released, and in all judgments, 2018 appears to be an equally hectic year.
