José González with The String Theory at Dramaten this fall

By on May 1, 2018

After celebrated tours together, it is now clear that José González and the chamber orchestra The String Theory visit Dramaten for a concert on September 16th.

The tickets have been released.

Gothenburg son José González has performed his many song treasures in a variety of constellations over the years. Whether he has played himself, with bands or with the Junip group, his brittle voice always formats and refined the sound images. The first time González collaborated with the artist collective and chamber orchestra The String Theory was 2011 during a celebrated and renowned European Tour. Two musical worlds collided, and in that meeting something new was created.

In 2015, González’s latest product was released Vestiges & Claws with stripped sound images and contagious rhythms. With that album in his bag, he then went to tour around the country and made among other a celebrated appearance on Way Out West.

The String Theory is an experimental chamber orchestra with roots in both Berlin and Gothenburg. Conductor PC Nackt has previously worked with the filmmaker Wim Wenders and has been collaborator with Sascha Ring since 2011, more famous as electronic musician Apparat.
