Johan Olsson is coming back

By on September 8, 2018

Cross-country skier and multiple World Cup and Olympic medalist Johan Olsson debuted at TCS Lidingöloppet last year. He impressed greatly with the time 1.48.59 – an unlikely good time according to himself. Nevertheless, he will start this year with the goal to beat his own time.

– This year I do not run for my own sake, says Johan Olsson secretively.

Santander Consumer Bank has long been working with Johan and they supported him when he made a Swedish classic last year.

– Johan made a Swedish classic to enjoy the community, joy and Swedish sports culture. Now, when he takes the next step, focusing on supporting and helping others, we think on the Santander Consumer Bank that it is an idea worthwhile to actualize, says Martin Brage, CEO of Santander Consumer Bank Sweden.

– At TCS Lidingöloppet, we think it’s great fun that Johan is also running this year, it will be very exciting to see if he can beat his time from last year, says Tomas Hoszek, TCS Lidingölopp’s Secretary General.
