Jeff Lynne’s ELO starts their European Tour in Ericsson Globe!

After their amazing concerts in Oberhausen, Amsterdam and Zurich in 2016, the legendary band Jeff Lynne’s ELO announced last Tuesday that they return to Europe for a 19-day tour of 2018, a tour that starts in Sweden and Ericsson Globe on September 12th.

Tickets for this hugely sought-after concert were released yesterday, Friday November 17th at 9.00.

Jeff Lynne says about the upcoming tour:

Jeff Lynne’s ELO is more popular than ever and has always been known for their epic live performances, with its own and innovative mix of rock, pop and classical music. During his career, ELO has had twenty-five (!) UK Top 40 hits, which makes Lynne stands behind several of the most well-known songs released in the last 40 years and contributed to sales of over 50 million discs worldwide.

The magnificent concert this summer at Wembley Stadium has been featured in the DVD ‘Wembley Or Bust’ released on November 17th. In this movie we see Jeff and his peculiar music ensemble play for a packed Wembley Stadium with 60,000 in the audience. They amaze their fans with magnificent rock & roll, complete with watches, whistles and spacecraft.

Lynne is also considered by many to be one of the biggest producers in music history. Lynne was co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty. He has also produced and worked with greatnesses such as The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and most recently Bryan Adams.

The concert in Ericsson Globe in September will be powerful. A concert with one of the most important bands in music history.
