Introduction to urban farming with Ulrika Flodin Furås

By on September 12, 2019

Transforming your balcony or outside space into a small garden creates a beautiful, natural space in your home. And, of course, on a larger scale, having a small garden can even transform the microclimate of an entire neighbourhood.

During this two hour workshop with pioneer Ulrika Flodin Furås, you will learn the basics of sustainable urban farming. You will learn what types of plants and vegetables we can grow inside our apartments and balconies, how to protect and nurture them, watering, basic light and climate conditions.

Midway through the class we will start seeds for a lovely little vegetable (secret until we meet) that you will bring home and grow, see you soon and prepare to get your hands dirty.

The introduction to urban farming with Ulrika Flodin Furås will be held Wednesday 18 September 2019 at Purple Institute!
