Innovative tradition with the christmas concert Stjärnjul

By on November 25, 2018

Come in Christmas atmosphere with 200 singers in Stjärnjulkören, famous guest artists and speedy band. Stjärnljus is a tradition that always renews itself with a mix of newly written and familiar – this year for the 26th consecutive year.

– It’s great fun to once again give the crowd a truly marvelous Christmas concert in Stockholm’s Filadelfia church with a mixture of tradition and surprise. We hope to put ticket records for the third consecutive year and sell out our 10,000 tickets.

– We are aiming for the audience to go home this year with the feeling that this year’s Stjärnjul was the best so far, says Stjärnuls director Jan Alexandersson.

This year’s guest artists – from Frost to Orsa
This year we have the great honor and pleasure to introduce popular guest artists like Kalle Moreaus and Frost’s voice Annika Herlitz. In addition to this, the Star Christmas Orchestra, with among others Hans Lindetorp takes place on stage again under the direction of Grammy-beloved Mattias Bylund.

Here are Stjärnjuls guest artists 2018:
Kalle Moraeus – popular artist, filmmaker and TV profile
Annika Herlitz – hailed musical artist and disney singer
Kiralina Salandy – versatile gospel and soul singer
Kjetil Støa – one of Scandinavia’s most promising tenors
