Ida Falk Winland, Swedish soprano with an exciting international career, meets French conductor Marc Minkowski in an exclusive summer concert together with the Drottningholm Theater Orchestra.

Ida Falk Winland is often on the go and sings on the major world scenes, most recently at the Paris Opera, in the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte. Her base is otherwise the Gothenburg Opera, where she participates in at least one production per year. The concert at Drottningholm is the first in Stockholm in the long run, and a long-awaited opportunity for all Stockholmers who want to listen to one of our premier sopranoes. Ida Falk Winland and Marc Minkowski have previously worked together at La Fenice in Venice. The concert on August 12 will be a dear reunion.

– It will be fun to come back to the Drottningholm Theater where I have not sung for several years! There is always something special about Drottningholm, says Ida Falk Winland. Great fun to work with Marc Minkowski again!

– Ida is a brilliant artist and it is incredibly pleasing that we managed to bring her together with Marc Minkowski for a concert together with the Drottningholm Theater orchestra. We can promise a lovely summer concert in our magical theater with music by the masters Mozart and Haydn, says Sofi Lerström, Theater Director.

The concert with Ida Falk Winland takes place at Drottningholms Slottsteater on August 12 at 19.30.
