By on December 7, 2017

I. B. Sundström, more famous as Isak Sundström from the bands Pascal and Skriet, is current with the album I den skinande gyttjan. With a fifteen musicians; a choir, an oil drum orchestra and a bleckblow section, together with actors from Dramaten he invites to his very own world in a rare show. The little stage, January 24th. The tickets are released.

Like this describes I.B. Sundström himself the album that forms the basis for the program at Dramaten:

“To me, the disc depicts a kind of deformed fantasy world that is being dissolved to some sort of nothingness, a dissolved state after the story is over. To me, the record is not hopeless, but rather hopeful, but maybe something beyond and behind the jump, like a beautiful, useless and formless resurrection.”

Press voices about the album:

“In I den skinande gyttjan, Sundström paints a dreamy fantasy world, both textual and musical.” (Hymn.se)

“… music that is strange, deeply personal and extremely captivating. Of our stressful contemporary, nada is labeled.” (Sonic)

I.B. Sundström, more famous as Isak Sundström, is recognized by the band Skriet and Pascal. Isak has grown up on Gotland, but now lives in Stockholm, where he acts as both musician and artist.
