By on May 3, 2017

After advanced beers brewed on both gold and gingerbread cookies, HORNSTULL now releases something completely different – a popular folk beer dedicated to Hornstullsborna and Hornstull. The beer is being launched in conjunction with the 4th anniversary of the trading venue on May 6th.

During the past few years, the Hornstull trade fair has brewed beer linked to Hornstull and this year is no exception. Spring news Hornstulls Folk beer is a session IPA that really embraces the district. The bottles contain six different motifs consisting of snapshots from Hornstull. The pictures represent more or less famous sites and buildings along with a brief introduction. The beer is a tribute to everything and everyone who is Hornstull. The IPA is brewed on wheat flour and is triple-fried with hops Citra and Simcoe. The beer is beautifully juicy and cloudy because of lupulin extracted from dry hops, which gives an easy bitterness. Alcohol content of 3.5 percent.

– This is our fifth beer we brew to and for Hornstull. Previously, the beer has had a higher alcohol content, so now we chose to brew a 3.5 percent with both nature and depth, like our own neighborhood, says Sara Falkevik, marketing manager at HORNSTULL.

Behind the beer stands as usually HORNSTULL and PangPang Brewery, which together constitute Hornstulls Bryggerisällskap. The beer is dropped in a limited edition of 600 bottles and is sold at Hemköp in Hornstull as well as in the restaurants: Hornhuset, Tjoget, Klang market, Käk and Beijing8.
