Hammarby Fotboll changes to Craft

Launches four new match sets directly for the 2019 season in record high collaboration.

Craft who develops, designs and manufactures racing and training clothes becomes Hammarby Fotboll’s new supplier of costumes and merchandise. The partnership is the largest in the club’s history and Craft not only becomes a supplier of match and training stands for the men but also to the ladies and to all youth teams. Already four new match sets are already presented for the 2019 season: a home and away set as well as a cup set and a third set. The agreement extends over four years with an option for another two years and came into force on January 1, 2019.

– Thanks to the agreement with Craft we get the same opportunities as the larger clubs in Europe have in developing and influencing the design and function of our match sets and training clothes. We see a proof of this today as we are launching our new match sets for the 2019 season and various training collections for women, men and youth.
That we can also offer our women players match sets and training collections with perfect adaptation and design based on a women’s player and not based on a men’s player shows that the cooperation with Craft is really modern and good. We are extremely pleased with the cooperation on several levels,

The players lyrical
When the players tested all collections and match sets, there has been a lot of praise about materials, fit, quality and design. Several of the players also point out that they never trained in more beautiful match and training sets.

– Although the cooperation officially started in January 2019, the work on designing the range has been going on for a long time. Several players and people within Hammarby have been very involved in product development – in design as well as in material choice and right down to the detail level of the garment construction. This in-depth collaboration has been crucial to bring out garments with maximum function and a design language that expresses Hammarby’s soul. We are used to this type of arrangement from several of our other sports. Now we have taken the best of these collaborations and combined with the demands of football and Hammarby’s specific wishes – and the players’ reactions to the garments have been extremely positive, says Stefan Persson, CEO of Craft.
