Guinness World Records Official Attempt: The largest collection of people dressed as Spider-Man

By on September 13, 2018

To celebrate the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man to PlayStation®4, a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS ™ title attempt is being conducted with the goal of bringing together the largest collection of people dressed as Spider Man.

“The current record was achieved in Sydney 2015 by Charterhouse Medical, when 438 people gathered in Spider-Man suits. We believe there are good opportunities to beat a new record. It would be great to do that in Sweden together with all Spider-Man and PlayStation fans, “ – says Kjetil Walseth on Nordisk Film and PlayStation Nordic.

The world record attempt will take place at 11.30 pm at Comic Con Stockholm, September 16th, at the Kistamässan auditorium. All participants get a costume to keep inspired by the new costume of the PS4 game Marvel’s Spider-Man, which has a white spider emblem on the chest. You can register for the PlayStation booth trial from kl. 10:00.

All guests at Comic Con Stockholm over the age of 18 are welcome to participate in the world record attempt. There is a limited number of costumes distributed as long as the stock is sufficient. Participants aged 16 or 17 need a written certificate from a parent or guardian to attend. During the event there will be several activities and participants will be able to win PS4 consoles and Marvel’s Spider Man for PS4. The game is also available for testing in the PlayStation booth at Comic Con Stockholm.

The attempt to take a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ™ title is hosted by PlayStation’s distributor Nordisk Film Distribution in collaboration with Comic Con Stockholm and GameStop.
