The mythical heavy metal band from Linköping has once again received the prestigious mission to finish Gröna Lund’s concert summer. September 29 at 20.00, when darkness has crossed the tivoli, Papa Emeritus III and his Nameless Ghouls steps out to the Main Stage to invite Gröna Lund’s audience to the season’s final concert.

It is said that Ghost is sent to collect souls to the devil through commercial rock music. The members of the group consist of five Nameless Ghouls and the front figure Papa Emeritus III who never turns out without their distinctive masks. Their sound has been compared to, among other things, Black Sabbath and their music has won them the majority of prizes. Among other things, they have got the Grammis in the Year Hardrock / Metal category for both the 2013 “Infestissumam” album, “Meliora” from 2015 and the EP “Popestar” from 2016. Last year, they also won an American Grammy Award in the “Best Metal performance “. In 2014, they hosted this year’s final concert at Gröna Lund in front of an enormous audience and have also received this glorious assignment to complete the entire Gröna Lund’s concert summer. September 29 is the last concert of the season when Papa Emeritus III and his Nameless Ghouls in Ghost steps out on the Main Stage.

With this reservation, the whole season’s program at Gröna Lund is complete and we could not have had a better end of the concert summer than with a guaranteed magnificent and dramatic performance signed Ghost, said Johan Tidstrand, Gröna Lund’s owner.
