Fashion Week checks in at the Grand Hôtel

As a new official venue for Fashion Week Stockholm, Grand Hôtel welcomes Sweden’s leading fashion brands between 30 August and 1 September. Most participating designers present their coming spring and summer collections in the hotel for three days. In addition, Stockholm and its visitors are invited to open events to learn about the latest in the Swedish fashion scene.

As of autumn circuits the Swedish fashion week around Blasieholmen and the Grand Hôtel. Both Swedish and international fashion presses gather for three days to monitor and take part in the latest in Swedish fashion design. In order to open up the fashion week for Stockholmers invites also the city and its visitors to be part of the three eventful days, by offering live broadcasts of shows, events in the new Cadier bar and an exhibition of the artist and fashion designer Bea Szenfeldtz’s work.

Exhibition in collaboration with Bea Szenfeld
During the fashion week, the Swedish creator and star designer Bea Szenfeld publishes three paperwork at the hotel, as never before been shown. The exclusive creations will be located in the lobby, and Bea Szenfeld will be the first external partner to take place on this surface.

– I am very proud to be the first designer to exhibit in the Grand Hôtel’s beautiful lobby. I will present three paper creations that have never been shown to the public before. It’s also fun to surprise the hotel’s guests and visitors with my design, says Bea Szenfeld

Grand Hôtel Fashion Lounge
In conjunction with the fashion week, the Grand Hôtel opens a pop-up fashion lounge for the public and hotel guests. In the lounge, anyone who wants to be able to enjoy live broadcast fashion shows and enjoy refreshments from a casual champagne bar for fashion week. The lounge is located adjacent to the hotel’s Stockholm classic Verandan.

New Cadier Bar
During the fashion week’s three evenings celebrates the launch of the new Cadier Bar by letting fashion profiles and their friends visit the turntables.
