Fanny and Alexander finish the Bergman year at Dramaten

The success set by Ingmar Bergman Fanny and Alexander returns to Dramaten and ends the Bergman year at Dramaten. Now the eleven final performances will be given with new premiere on November 3rd.

Dramatens set of Ingmar Bergman’s multiple Oscar-winning film and television series Fanny and Alexander had a premiere in 2012 and became a major audience success. Now it’s once again on the repertoire after playing over 160 sold out houses.

Fanny and Alexander are a festive homage to the theater, actor and imagination. A story about staying in childhood magic and keeping the responsible adult world at a distance. Director makes Stefan Larsson, one of Dramaten’s most engaged directors, now also acting as an actor.
