Easter celebration at Skansen

Now it is almost Easter. It is celebrated with the Easter market and succumbed Easter table at Skansen. On Maundy Thursday is free admission for all Easter witches and hubby (4-15 years) who plan to take the broom to Blåkulla. For those who choose to remain on ground there is Easter crafts, a barbecue and storytelling.

Easter Market
Take the opportunity to buy gifts and goodies for the spring all the celebrations at the Easter market. Crafts in all its forms are available for sale; Iron, brass and silver, leather crafts, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, Easter decorations, jewelery, delicatessen and coffee roasted on site. Easter market taking place April 13 to 17.

Easter fun for all children
Maundy Thursday has all children who come dressed as Easter witches, or Easter figures, free admission to Skansen to make their broom and practice takeoff to Blåkulla. Then you can also get face painted like easter egg, Easter bunny and chicken.
Easter crafts going on in Skogens house every day 8 to 17 April at 10:00 to 16:00. Pysslet costs 30: –
In Back Mats cabin tells stories every day between the hours of 11:00 and 15:00.
At Orsakullen stands sausage grills set, Lill-Skansen presented Today’s animal and at Bredablick waiting ponies for small riders. On Easter market there is also a nice fish pond.

Easter Traditions
The different days themes can be seen in four buildings throughout the Easter period. In Väla school appears Maundy Thursday, in Oktorpsgården Good Friday, in Skånegården Easter Saturday, where it is also is äggapickning and egg rolling 15 to 16 April, and in Järnhandlarbostaden shows how Easter Day was celebrated.
