The tea tests: Chinese tea

The tea from China with tea connoisseur and importer Grace Guo. Suitable for those who are curious about Chinese teas of the best quality. The tea test begins with a brief tour of the museum’s tea ceramics and teutensilier at 17:30. Then we go to the auditorium of Beijing and try teas of high quality from China.

During the evening we go through how the tea was developed from the drinks to the tea ceremony and the appearance of the tea philosophy during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) in China. We explore the tea’s cultural heritage in classical chinese art.

Tea test: Japanese tea

Sake test

When it is the season for cherry blossom in Kungsträdgården offer we Sake tasting at the museum. Suitable for those who are curious about sake and want to know more.

We are testing different kinds of sake from Japan and talk about its history and future. Whatsake meant for the Japanese and their cultural heritage. How do they see at sake today and how do we see in the Westsake? What role will the beverage play in the future?

Sake test starts with a brief tour of the exhibition Japan: objects and pictures tell at 17:30. Thereafter tested sake of high quality at 18:00.
