Don’t miss the iconic Sleep at Münchenbryggeriet

By on October 6, 2019

Doom metal. Stoner rock. Somewhere in the borderland between the two we find the iconic band Sleep from California which has been one of the most iconic metal worlds over the years.

When we welcomed the band to Debaser Strand 2018, the tickets sold out fast. Now the trio returns – to the Munich Brewery in Stockholm, Saturday October 12.

Sleep is an iconic band. With their albums “Volume One” (1991), “Sleep’s Holy Mountain” (1992) and “Dopesmoker” (1999), they have stepped up new paths and done something no one else has done. Since then, they have broken up – and reunited. Now they’re back!

Last year, the album “The Sciences” was finally released – including the epic “Sonic Titan” which clocks in at 12:27 and “Antarcticans Thawed” at a brisk 14:23. From the album, the song “Marijuanaut’s Theme” has already become a modern Sleep classic.

Now we look forward to a mighty Saturday with both new and old material from Sleep! Saturday, October 12 at Munich Brewery in Stockholm!
