Deep Purple on Annexet

By on August 15, 2017

From 1968 to today, the world of rock music has changed and the world has changed by rock music. Rockband has come and gone, but a few dragons have stood against the winds of time. One of the biggest dragons is British Deep Purple. With the new album “InFinite” in the luggage, released later this spring, they are taking The Long Goodbye Tour to Sweden.

On November 6, Deep Purple plays at the Annexet in Stockholm.

Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey are on their way back to Sweden. The British band is pioneering when it comes to modern rock and heavy metal, a genre that they pre-eminently was part of and formed. For almost 50 years, the band has been active – with over 120 million records sold and selling concerts worldwide all over the world. Now they are also up to date with the new studio album “InFInite” released in April. Impressive!

The world’s most famous introriff is as simple as magic. There are few who do not recognize the introduction of “Smoke On The Water” – one of the greatest rock songs throughout the ages. But it’s also just one of all shining songs in Deep Purle’s track treasure, which is now extremely well-stocked after a record release for six decades and a new album in progress. The fans will really get all they want, old classic as new classics.
