Coral Reef Research interpreted by Beckman Students

A world that can live forever” is an exhibition where students of Visual Communication at Beckmans College of Design interprets the Beijer Institute’s research on the world’s coral reefs.

Exhibition January 18 to 29 at the Swedish Pewter

The exhibition draws attention to the coral reef beauty and utility, as well as highlight the trials that reefs are facing.

In portrayals of all kinds – from photos and posters to light and textiles lifts students that around eighty percent of the coral reefs in the Caribbean Sea, and fifty percent of reefs in the Pacific have already died and that more of the corals likely to fade and die. But also it is not too late to stop coral death.

Beijer Institute’s coral reef research is made possible largely by the surplus Swedish Tenn generate from their sales and that goes to research in medicine and ecology.
