Clothing change and reuse day

By on March 23, 2019

Say goodbye to wear and tear – and hi to take advantage of what you have! Welcome to a day in the reuse sign arranged in collaboration between Refo, Stockholm Läns Hemslöjdsförening, Stockholm Nature Conservation Association and the Ethnographic Museum with friends.

Update the spring cloakroom in an environmentally friendly way through Sweden’s largest clothing change day! Replace your old garments with new ones or get tips from Syakuten on how to repair, patch or change them. Inspired by fashion designers, Hemslöjdsföreningen and Work through Craft on how materials, accessories and recycled products can get new.

Warm welcome!

When: Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 11-16
Where: The Ethnographic Museum, Djurgårdsbrunnsvägen 34, Gärdet
Price: Free admission

Change of clothes at. 11-16

Please note that submission takes place before the change. Here’s how it works:

1. Leave a maximum of five whole and clean clothes. You do this at the Medelhavsmuseet (Fredsgatan 2) on Tuesday March 26 – Sunday March 31st. The museum is open weekdays at. 11-20 and weekends at. 11-17.

2. In exchange for each garment you get a clothes tray that you change into a “new” garment on April 6th.

3. Clothing and accessories for all seasons of different sizes, sex and ages are welcome. We do not accept jewelry, underwear or swimwear.

4. The clothes that do not get new owners are donated to second hand, you do not get the clothes back.

5. Participation is completely free!
