“Christmas” – with John Lundvik

By on November 14, 2017

Last Friday, John Lundvik released the christmas song “Christmas”, a delicate ballad he wrote together with Thomas G:son and Anderz Wrethov.

– Being able to celebrate Christmas together with loved ones is something many of us sometimes take for granted, says John. Through this song, I hope to convey a sense of how important it is that we see, appreciate and take care of each other when we have that opportunity.

The music video was recorded in Benny Andersson’s beautiful studio Riksmixningsverket, a 150-year-old warehouse at Skeppsholmen. The video was released last Friday.

As a songwriter, John received his great breakthrough and recognition in 2010 after writing together with Jörgen Elofsson the Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel’s wedding gift “When You Tell The World You’re Mine”. The song was performed by Björn Skifs and Agnes and achieved great success at Svensktoppen. John’s track record also includes music to the American hit series Empire and the movie Snabba Cash. In the 2008 Melodifestival, John went straight to the final as sole songwriter and author of Anton Ewald’s contribution “Natural”. John has previously released the single “With You” and we look forward to seeing more of him in the future.
