Christmas table with Singalong at Djurgårdsbrunn

“Rebook your Christmas table before it’s to late”, so sounds the urging when Djurgårdsbrunn completes its Christmas table vision that has been in the making since the doors were opened in 2007. Here’s the quality of entertainment combined with entertainment to create the Christmas table with extra everything.
This year’s Christmas table at Djurgårdsbrunn puts the food and experience at the center when the large glass tent with its associated winter landscape, bigger than ever before, is being built out on the Royal Djurgården. Starting from the reflection of how it would seem to wander around in a classic snow globe, the guest finds a broadly ornate landscape with firs, Christmas sweaters and even snow indoors.
– Since eleven years ago, we made our very first Christmas table at Djurgårdsbrunn, we have worked to bring out the absolute best Christmas table where we convey the joy, community and experience to our guests. During our trip, we noticed that all parts of the food needed to get their very own place, the warmest made the best of the kitchen to constantly have the chef’s love and the sweetness – which we can never get enough of – needed a very own room in particular dedicated. Finally, we had filled the restaurant to the width, and the idea of a glass tent, a very own winter landscape, was born for our guests, says Peder Smith, CEO of the Bockholmengruppen.
In 2018 large investment of the Christmas table it becomes clear that the Bockholm group puts the visitor in focus when Djurgårdsbrunn fasten on the taste of Christmas in the vastly expanded menu where the classic flavors meet modern tastes. The whole restaurant is filled with goodies and every section of the Christmas table has its own part in the restaurant, including a whole room dedicated to sweets.
– Our goal with this year’s Christmas table is to create something unique, packing it traditionally as a rich inn with a focus on good food and drinks, but with a funky American feel in the dining room. We serve a cavalcade of delicious herrings and salmon to then chills in cold cuts and small hot dishes. In the end, we have set up a sumptuous dessert room, just relaxing down and consuming all the goodies of Christmas, says Tobias Nystrand, Head chef at djurgårdsbrunn’s inns.
For entertainment, music and song are in focus. During the day, Djurgårdsbrunn is visited by Valdemar, the troubadour, and the evenings are summoned with the singing of Elfis Presly and the Frosty Tops, which uploading the evening with christmas songs and drinking songs.
– This will be a rare Christmas spectacle inspired by Will Ferell’s character in The Elf, which is the best Christmas film throughout the ages. Christmas tables should not be boring and should you gather friends, relatives or colleagues for a wonderful evening, then we want to offer the best experience that can be created, says Konceptism, which is behind the concept of this year’s Christmas table.
